The Weeknd brings ‘Nightmare Trilogy’ to Universal Studio’s Halloween Horror Nights

The Weeknd is looking to take the breath of fans in a new haunted house for Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights.

On Wednesday the theme park made the frightening announcement in a post on Instagram.

The spooky experience will incorporate the Toronto singer’s albums “After Hours,” “Dawn FM” and his upcoming project, which hasn’t been officially announced yet. He’s referred to these three albums as the “three chapters.”

“This year, he returns with The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy, which provides fans an authentic, one-of-a-kind horror experience with surprises at every turn and music by The Weeknd scored by seminal producer, artist, and seven-time Grammy award winner Mike Dean,” the park explained.

This isn’t the first time The Weeknd, born Abel Tesfaye, has participated in “Southern California’s scariest Halloween event.”

In 2022, the “Blinding Lights” singer collaborated with the theme park for The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare haunted house, which was based on his 2020 album “After Hours.”

In recent months, The Weeknd has been teasing that new music is on the way.

On Sept. 7 he’s set to host a one-night-only concert at Estádio MorumBIS in São Paulo, Brazil.

The show is being described as a “never-before-seen production,” according to Live Nation.

Tickets for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood are on sale now. The spooky fun begins on Sept. 5 through Nov. 3.
