Jimmy John’s joins the value meal trend with $10 meal deal

Jimmy John’s is the latest chain to add a value meal to its menu as rising costs continue to impact consumers’ wallets, resulting in more people opting to eat at home.

At participating restaurants, the sandwich chain offers a $10 “Total Package Meal,” which includes an 8-inch original sandwich, a regular-sized fountain drink, a bag of Jimmy chips and the choice of a cookie or brownie for dessert.

Jimmy John joins the growing trend of fast-food and fast-casual eateries offering value meals in recent months.

For example, Buffalo Wild Wings is offering a $19.99 all-you-can-eat deal on boneless wings and fries on Wednesdays, McDonald’s is extending its $5 meal deal and Taco Bell revamped its Cravings value Menu to include 10 menu items for $3 or less.

Many food companies are offering value meals in hopes of attracting more customers.
