Project Angel Food Lead with Love 6 Telethon Preview

Gayle Anderson previews the Project Angel Food Lead with Love 6 Telethon happening June 28, 2025, presented by City National Bank. The telethon will be live on KTLA 5, Channel 5, from 7-9 p.m. PT, and on screens nationwide, with an extraordinary lineup of stars united in support Project Angel Food’s vital work feeding all seriously ill across L.A. County, including those impacted by the devastating wildfires earlier this year.

Created in 2020 as a pandemic lifeline, Lead with Love has evolved into a celebrated, star-studded tribute to Los Angeles’ compassion and resilience. The three-time Emmy-nominated special has welcomed more than 200 celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey, Elton John, Carol Burnett, Ringo Starr, Sharon Stone, and Magic Johnson, collectively raising more than $5 million for Project Angel Food’s medically tailored meal programs.

This year’s Emmy-nominated special features a pre-recorded message from EGOT legend Barbra Streisand (two Academy Awards®, five Emmy Awards®, ten Grammy Awards®, and a special Tony Award®). Joining her are late-night icon Jimmy Kimmel, Rock & Roll Hall-of-Famer Annie Lennox, and Academy Award® winner Jamie Lee Curtis, Co-Chair of Project Angel Food’s expansion campaign, for an unforgettable evening filled with celebrities, emotional stories, and electrifying performances.‍

Lead with Love’s original hosts Eric McCormack and Jessica Holmes return, joined by five-time host Loni Love.

Additional star power includes Sheryl Lee Ralph, Matt Bomer, Nathan Lee Graham, Wilson Cruz, Ann-Margret, Lori Loughlin, Steven Weber, Cameron Mathison, and artist, author, and activist Mary Fisher. Performances include legendary bands Air Supply and Foreigner, Grammy winner Richard Marx, and live from The Yaamava’ Performance Stage, in KTLA’s Studio 6B, Broadway sensation Cheyenne Jackson, Billboard #1 Emerging Artist Em Beihold, and Grammy and Tony Award-winner Jennifer Holliday. Amy Yasbeck, Bianca Del Rio, Lunelle, Jai Rodriguez, Michael Hitchcock, and Food Network star Duff Goldman anchor the lively All-Star Phone Bank, where anything can happen as celebrities answer donor calls live.

Since 1989, Project Angel Food has delivered medically tailored meals with compassion and dignity to critically ill individuals throughout Los Angeles County. Each year, the organization prepares and delivers more than 1.5 million meals to 6,240 clients. Construction of the Chuck Lorre Family Foundation Campus will soon double kitchen capacity, enabling meal production to triple in response to increasing demand.

Project Angel Food, a Four-Star Charity Navigator organization, ensures 89¢ of every donated dollar directly supports meal programs — demonstrating how Project Angel Food consistently leads with love. To donate, visit AngelFood.org/LoveLA.
