1 shot, another injured in Mid-City, officials say

A shooting in the Mid-City area of Los Angeles reportedly injured two people on Friday morning, including one man who was shot.

The shooting occurred just before 10:15 a.m. at Venice and Hauser boulevards either outside of or near to a market, according to Officer Miller of the Los Angeles Police Department.


The condition of the man who was shot has not been released, but the shooter is believed to be another man, Miller said.

Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department added that at least one other person was injured, but no one was immediately transported to the hospital.
