Dodgers land at LAX, return to Los Angeles as World Series champions

The newly-crowned world champion Los Angeles Dodgers returned home Thursday morning after beating the New York Yankees to win the 8th World Series title in the franchise’s history.

The Blue Crew made history by overcoming a 5-0 deficit to win Game 5 of the World Series 7-6 in New York Wednesday night.

The team’s plane landed at Los Angeles International Airport shortly after 8 a.m. in plenty of time to celebrate with fans during a parade scheduled for 11 a.m. on Friday.
