High bacteria levels prompt warnings for multiple area beaches

Los Angeles County Department of Public Health officials are warning the public against swimming, surfing or playing in ocean water at multiple beaches.

Bacterial levels have exceeded health standards at the following locations:


A few areas, however, have recently tested within state standards, and warnings previously placed on them have been lifted:
