A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death in Pomona Friday.
Pomona police responded to a shooting in the 900 block of East Holt Avenue at 4:38 a.m.
Arriving officers found the man suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving measures by L.A. County Fire personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspect was found in the area and the circumstances leading up to the man’s death remain unclear.
Homicide investigators responded to the scene and are investigating and working to develop leads. No further details, including the victim’s identity, were released.
