It’s a showdown between good and evil at Six Flags Magic Mountain’s new DC Heroes and Villians Fest

Knott’s Berry Farm and Six Flags Magic Mountain season pass holders could soon use their passes to enter both parks following the $8 billion merger of its parent companies, Six Flags and Cedar Fair. (Six Flags Magic Mountain)

Superman, Batman, Harley Quinn and The Joker will be among the heroes and villains taking over Six Flags Magic Mountain this summer during its new festival.

DC Heroes and Villains Fest will run on select Saturdays and Sundays from June 15 to Aug. 4 at the amusement park, complete with character appearances, live shows, themed foods and DC-themed rides and attractions.

The festivities will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekend nights in the DC Universe-themed land at Magic Mountain.

The event will kick off with a DC Superhero Cavalcade with Batman and Wonder Woman at the helm. The trouble begins in the evening when the villains interrupt a celebration for Batman during the “Batman’s  85th Anniversary Celebration” show.

Guests can also see Harley Quinn and her band of villainous minions during the “Femme Fatales Live Show.”

Visitors brave enough can take to the skies with heroes like Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman or fight against Lex Luthor and The Riddler as they ride one of the many DC-themed thriller rides in the amusement park.

DC Heroes & Villains Fest is included with general park admission and for all season pass holders and members.
