Universal Fan Fest to return in 2026 with Scooby-Doo x Universal Monsters experience

Scooby-Doo and the gang are trading mysteries for monsters as they team up with Count Dracula, Frankenstein and other Universal Monsters at Universal Fan Fest.

Universal Studios is bringing back its Fan Fest event in 2026 with a new slate of after-hours experiences, including a first-of-its-kind Scooby-Doo x Universal Monsters mash-up set on the park’s iconic backlot.

Presale tickets are available now through Dec. 17, 2025, and include a complimentary limited-edition collectible medallion for Universal Fan Fest Nights 2026. General admission tickets start at $74, while the Universal Fan Fest Nights Ultimate Fandom Pass is $249.

The event runs select nights from April 23 to May 16. Dates include April 23–25; May 1–3, 7–9, and 15–16.

The announcement coincides with Universal’s participation in L.A. Comic Con.

A panel, moderated by the Los Angeles Times’ Todd Martens, will feature Halloween Horror Nights executive producer John Murdy, Fan Fest Nights executive producer Stephen Siercks, and Universal Creative leaders Jon Corfino and Abbye Finnan.

The panel will discuss Universal Fan Fest Nights, Halloween Horror Nights and the Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift roller coaster, set to open in 2026.

Universal Fan Fest Nights is a separately ticketed, after-hours event that celebrates fandoms across film, TV and gaming.

The first Fan Fest earlier this year featured themed experiences inspired by “Star Trek,” “Dungeons & Dragons,” “One Piece,” “Back to the Future,” and “Jujutsu Kaisen,” along with additions to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Super Nintendo World.

More announcements for the event are expected in the coming months.
