The Los Angeles Fire Department battled a small brush fire near Hansen Dam for less than an hour Tuesday afternoon before it was contained.
The fire was reported at about 2:40 p.m. at 11798 W. Foothill Blvd., firefighters said in an alert, though by 3:30 p.m., LAFD officials said the blaze, known as the Stone Fire, had been contained to about 2 acres.
No injuries or damaged structures were immediately reported, and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
