A burglar was chased off after breaking into a home in the Bel-Air neighborhood of Los Angeles Wednesday night.

Police were called to the home in the area of Bel Terrace and North Sepulveda Boulevard shortly before 9:30 p.m.

The caller told police they arrived to find the suspect already inside the residence, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed.

The suspect then jumped out of a window and ran from the scene wearing what was only described as black clothing.

Investigators did not know if anything was taken from the home while the burglar was inside.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
