In honor of back-to-school season, Wendy’s and Burger King are offering their customers free kids’ meals.  

At Wendy’s, kids’ meals include a choice of four-piece chicken nuggets, cheeseburgers, hamburgers, Jr. french fries, or apple slices. They can also choose a drink and a toy.

The deal, available to Wendy’s rewards members via the Wendy’s app, can be redeemed by purchasing a “premium combo meal,” such as the Baconator or spicy chicken sandwich. Wendy’s deal ends on Sept. 2

Until Aug. 25, Burger King customers can get a free King Jr. meal with a $10 purchase at participating Burger King locations or online.

At Burger King, kids can choose between a double cheeseburger, four-piece chicken nuggets, six-piece chicken nuggets, cheeseburger and hamburger as their main entrée.

For a side, there’s a choice of french fries, onion rings, Have-sies (half french fries and half onion rings) or apple sauce. The kids’ meal also includes a drink and a choice of a toy or a chocolate chip cookie.

Fast-food eateries nationwide have been offering customers discounts and value meals in recent months to attract more customers, many of whom have opted to eat out less due to high costs.
