A suspect driver traveling at high speeds was arrested after leading California Highway Patrol officers in a pursuit Friday night.
The suspect, in a red Dodge vehicle, was initially wanted by CHP for an alleged window tint violation.
The driver hit speeds of over 100 miles per hour while swerving dangerously on freeway and surface streets without headlights on.
While merging quickly, the suspect drove over a gore point on the eastbound lanes of the 10 Freeway which appeared to have punctured a tire, prompting the driver to pull over and surrender near the transition point to the southbound 5 Freeway.
The male driver exited the vehicle and surrendered to officers. A female passenger also exited and was taken into custody.
The vehicle may have been involved in a nearby street takeover on Friday night but that detail has yet to be confirmed by authorities.
Footage of the chase can be seen in the video player above.
