Surveillance video captured the moment an armed suspect attempted to rob a check cashing business in Santa Ana.

On Aug, 7, the suspect entered Main Street International Check Cashing located at 1425 North Main Street, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.

Surveillance video captured the man quickly approaching the front counter and handing a note to the female teller.

The note read, in Spanish, “Put all the money you have in this bag quickly.” While handing the teller the note, the man also told the woman, “Don’t push any buttons or alarms,” before brandishing a weapon from his waistband.
