Little Tokyo is welcoming a new farmers market and it officially kicks off this Saturday! We're joined with a few of the participating businesses for a preview. The farmers market will take place every Saturday from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. at the Isamu Noguchi Plaza at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center in Little Tokyo. A California bill aims to address antisemitism and discrimination in public schools statewide by prohibiting learning material, such as textbooks and instructional materials, that would "subject a pupil to unlawful discrimination."

The closures include 235 Claire’s locations and 56 Icing stores. Icing targets older teens and young adult women.  

California Republicans are proposing a plan to split the state into two, creating a new state comprised of inland areas. KTLA 5's Chip Yost reports on the proposal and the constitutional hurdles it faces.
