A California bill aims to address antisemitism and discrimination in public schools statewide by prohibiting learning material, such as textbooks and instructional materials, that would "subject a pupil to unlawful discrimination."

The closures include 235 Claire’s locations and 56 Icing stores. Icing targets older teens and young adult women.  

California Republicans are proposing a plan to split the state into two, creating a new state comprised of inland areas. KTLA 5's Chip Yost reports on the proposal and the constitutional hurdles it faces.
