Los Angeles Metro shared information Monday about its planned service changes that will take place next week.

“Service changes begin Sun., Dec. 15, to improve bus frequencies, reduce wait times & improve access to key destinations,” Metro announced in its post on X.

The changes should also make schedules more accurate, according to Metro, and are part of its twice-yearly service changes to ride areas across Los Angeles County.

The public transit agency also noted that its new LAX/Metro Transit Center will be opening in early 2025, which will serve multiple lines “as well as the LAX people mover when it eventually opens.”

More information, including a summary of the changes, can be found on the Metro website here.
