A man who was beaten and knocked unconscious by security guards outside of Crypto.com Arena and two others are suing the venue.

The melee occurred outside a matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks in February when Cesar Moran and two others were looking at a special Lakers car, KTLA’s Jennifer McGraw learned.

Given the date and the Lakers’ opponent, it’s likely the vehicle was a $5 million sportscar decorated in honor of star Luka Doncic.

At some point, however, an altercation broke out, though the plaintiffs thought they were fighting other fans, not security.

Moran, whose brother Alexis Moran spoke on his behalf, was hospitalized after he sustained a fractured skull and hemorrhaging. His pain was so severe that he required morphine, Alexis Moran added.

Now, Moran is suing Crypto.com Arena, L.A. Live, the Lakers and Air Jordan, the Michael Jordan-branded Nike subsidiary whose logo graced the sportscar.

None of the defendants returned KTLA’s request for comment.
