A dump truck slammed into the back of the famed music venue Whisky a Go Go in West Hollywood Friday afternoon.

The truck hit the 102-year-old building on the Sunset Strip in the mid afternoon, and Sky5 was over the scene shortly after at about 3 p.m.

The cause of the crash hasn’t been detailed, but another vehicle that appears to be a USPS truck had careened into a nearby fence as well.

As a result, the area near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Clark Street was closed, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.

“Due to the traffic collision, some power has been affected and power is out to some parts of the area. Crews are currently on scene and working to restore power,” the LASD added.
