A violent crash sent a car careening into the front of a store in Glendale overnight, police said.

The two-car collision was reported just before midnight Sunday on South Glendale and East Garfield avenues.

Investigators believe a car was traveling northbound on Glenadale Avenue when it struck a vehicle that was turning from Garfield Avenue.

The impact sent a white sedan crashing into the front of a kitchen and appliance store, Sevana Gifts. A tow truck was brought in to drag the vehicle out of the badly damaged business.
