Detectives asked the public for help Wednesday in identifying a man who used a note during two separate bank robbery attempts in Orange County recently.

The Tustin Police Department said in its Facebook post that the banks were located in the Tustin and Santa Ana areas.

“During the incidents, the above-photographed male walked into the banks and presented hand-written notes to the teller, which indicated he had a firearm,” police said.

The exact dates of the incidents were not shared, but police said that the suspect failed to steal any money in either instance.
