A homicide investigation is underway after a body was found in a ravine in San Bernardino County.
On Aug. 26, deputies responded to reports of a body located near Broadway and Quivera Streets in Needles around 1 p.m.
Authorities arriving at the scene found the male victim lying in a nearby ravine. No suspects were in the area and it’s unclear how long the body had been there.
Homicide detectives are investigating the case. No further details, including the man’s name or the nature of his injuries, were released. A cause of death will be determined by an autopsy.
