A 1-year-old boy reportedly kidnapped by his father has been located hours after an AMBER Alert was issued Sunday afternoon.

Officials with the California Highway Patrol, on behalf of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, said that 1-year-old Enzo Antonescu was in the custody of Dragan Antonescu, 20, when the pair were last seen at around 12 p.m. Sept. 7 near Colima Road in the City of Industry.

In the alert, authorities said that Dragan was considered armed and dangerous and urged anyone that might have spotted him to call 911.

The child was described as 1 foot 8 inches, weighing about 22 pounds, with green eyes and brown hair.

LASD said Dragan, 20, was armed with a knife while Viorel Ilie, 48, and Marioara Ilie, 40, physically assaulted the victim, the child’s mother, and took the baby.

It’s unclear what the relationship is between Dragan and the other two suspects.

Dragan was described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing around 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants.

The 20-year-old, along with the two other suspects, were last seen in a dark gray 2011 Toyota Sienna with California license plate number 9SLF463. The trio, according to investigators, may have been heading to Colorado, officials said.

No information was provided on the current whereabouts of the boy or in what condition he was recovered, nor is it known if any arrests have been made in the child’s alleged kidnapping.
