A train derailed in the City of Industry Thursday morning, though it appears no one was injured.
The derailment at 17225 Arenth Ave. involved 15 cars and occurred just before 8 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, which added that the incident affected the Union Pacific yard.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, however, said the derailment occurred at 7:23 a.m.
A liquid was released, but it was determined safe.
Neither train nor car traffic was affected.
