Lindsey Peña

Lindsey Peña

Lindsey Peña joined the KTLA team in May of 2025. Before that she was the weekday evening anchor and reporter at the KGTV in San Diego.

During her time there she launched a groundbreaking series of reports dedicated to highlighting the area’s diverse communities. Through in-depth interviews and immersive storytelling, Lindsey gave voice to underrepresented groups, shining a spotlight on cultural traditions, local innovators, and the progress being made to achieve lasting change. San Diego was also where Lindsey worked closely with local law enforcement to spotlight area cold cases and the families impacted by these unsolved crimes.

Lindsey began her broadcasting journey in Fresno, which is also her hometown. She’s a proud Fresno State Bulldog! It was in the Central Valley where she honed her skills covering local news, government affairs, and community events. She worked as a reporter and anchor at both KSEE and KGPE before making the move to Southern California.

Lindsey’s work has earned her multiple regional Emmy awards as well as recognition from the Society of Professional Journalists and the National Press Photographers Association.

Lindsey is incredibly happy to be living and working in Los Angeles, where she is closer to family and friends. She loves exploring with her dog, trying new places to eat and seeing live music.
