The 30th Annual Critics Choice Awards have been postponed due to the wildfires raging across Southern California.

“This unfolding tragedy has already had a profound impact on our community. All our thoughts and prayers are with those battling the devastating fires and with all who have been affected,” said Critics Choice Association CEO Joey Berlin.

The ceremony was originally slated for Jan. 12, but now it will take place two weeks later on Jan. 26. It will still take place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica and will be broadcast live on E! and will be available on Peacock on Jan. 27.

Chelsea Handler will serve as the host for the third year in a row.

The decision to postpone the show comes as multiple wildfires are burning in the region: the Palisades Fire in Pacific Palisades, the Eaton Fire in Altadena, the Hurst Fire in Sylmar, the Woodley Fire in Sepulveda Basin and the Olivas Fire in Ventura.
