Get ready to see Mickey Mouse on the grid with Max Verstappen next season.
Disney and Formula 1 have announced a partnership that will begin in 2026.
“Disney’s Mickey Mouse is one of the most beloved and recognizable characters of all time, and now fans can look forward to seeing Mickey & Friends in the high-speed world of Formula 1 through experiences, content, and merchandise around the globe,” Disney said in a press release.

The sport has seen enormous growth in recent years, especially among youth. Spurred in part by the success of Netflix’s “Formula 1: Drive to Survive” docuseries, “more than four million children aged 8-12 now actively follow the sport across the EU and US, while 54% of followers on TikTok and 40% on Instagram are now under 25 years old,” the release explained.
The exact nature of the partnership hasn’t been disclosed, but F1 has embraced such collaborations in the past, including a Lego race at the Miami Grand Prix earlier this month.
