“Avengers” star Jeremy Renner is set to be the grand marshal of the 92nd Hollywood Christmas Parade.

The announcement comes almost two years after Renner suffered life-threatening injuries in a slow plow accident. He has since made a full recovery.

The actor took to Instagram on Thursday to express his gratitude for the honor.

“I’m honored to serve as the grand marshal for this year’s Hollywood Christmas Parade and excited to partner with Toys for Tots to bring joy to children in need,” he explained. “Their mission aligns closely with the work we do at the RennerVation Foundation, creating meaningful experiences for at-risk youth. This season of giving is about spreading hope, and I’m thrilled to share this moment with my family and friends from the foundation as we work together to make a difference.”

This year’s parade is hosted by actor Dean Caine, host Laura McKenzie along with Montel Williams and Elizabeth Stanton.

The parade presented in association with The City of Los Angeles on the streets of Hollywood takes place on Dec. 1 at 6:00 p.m. Grandstand Bleacher Seats will open at 4:00 p.m., and Pre-Parade Entertainment will commence at 5:30 p.m.

The parade will air on KTLA 5 on Dec. 14 at 8:00 p.m.
