The Netflix hit “KPop Demon Hunters” is dancing its way back into theaters for another sing-along event.
“KPop Demon Hunters Sing-Along” is a full-length sing-along version of the hit animated original film, and it will return to theaters for a “limited theatrical event” from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2, which is Halloween weekend.
Netflix is also encouraging moviegoers to dress up at their favorite characters!
“Unleash your inner Demon Hunter with officially licensed HUNTR/X costumes from Spirit Halloween, or show others how it’s done with Hunter and The Pride-approved must-haves from the Netflix Shop,” the streamer said in a statement.
The smash hit will be available at all three major US theatrical chains: AMC, Regal, and Cinemark, and in select theaters. It will also play in additional theaters in the U.S. and Canada, and internationally, including the UK, Ireland, Korea, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Australia, and New Zealand.
AMC CEO Adam Aron noted on X that the “real news” of this is the collaboration with Netflix and the theater chain.
“Netflix, the world’s largest streaming service, and AMC Entertainment, the world’s largest theatre chain, have jointly decided to work together,” the post said. “This new cooperation will start this Halloween weekend. AMC will show Netflix’s most-popular movie in its history, ‘KPop Demon Hunters.’ It will play on approximately 400 AMC screens across its theatres in the U.S. and Europe.”
“While the two companies have not had a commercial relationship in recent years, both Netflix and AMC are intrigued by the mutually beneficial opportunities that could arise from this and future collaboration. Discussions are underway as to what that may entail, but no further details are being shared at this time,” Aron wrote.
Tickets go on sale for U.S. and Canada locations on Oct. 17 at 6 a.m. PST, and you can head here to find a screening near you. Check your local listings for other locations.
