Sabrina Carpenter’s patience for phones at her shows is short and sweet.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the “Espresso” singer said she is seriously considering banning them at her concerts. She told the outlet she was inspired after attending Silk Sonic’s show in Las Vegas, where the audience was required to lock up their phones during the show.

“I’ve never had a better experience at a concert,” Carpenter explained to the outlet. “I genuinely felt like I was back in the Seventies — wasn’t alive. Genuinely felt like I was there. Everyone’s singing, dancing, looking at each other, and laughing. It really, really just felt so beautiful.”

Silk Sonic consists of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak.

“I’ve grown up in the age of people having iPhones at shows,” the “Manchild” singer continued. “It unfortunately feels super normal to me. I can’t blame people for wanting to have memories. But depending on how long I want to be touring, and what age I am, girl, take those phones away. You cannot zoom in on my face. Right now, my skin is soft and supple. It’s fine. Do not zoom in on me when I’m 80 years old up there.”

Carpenter is currently Rolling Stone’s cover girl for its July/August issue.

Supporters say it makes the show more intimate, while critics say if you can’t take pictures or videos of the show, there’s no proof you were there.

She debuted her new single “Manchild” earlier this month. Her new album “Man’s Best Friend” is due out on Aug. 29.
