Gayle Anderson reports that for the first time, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library presents eight authentic Dead Sea Scrolls and more than 200 artifacts from the Second Temple period. This is the only West Coast venue for this traveling exhibit from the Israel Antiquities Authority. The Dead Sea Scrolls are considered one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century.
The museum wants interested parties to know reservations are required and can be made January 8th, 2025 at 8 a.m. for participation in the upcoming exhibit, lunch and tour with special guest speaker Antiquities Authority Tyler Jarvis of American Jewish University happening January 15th, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
