The 9th Annual P-22 Day Festival in Griffith Park honors the legacy of the mountain lion known as P-22, who lived Griffith Park for more than a decade and became the face of the campaign to save Southern California’s threatened pumas. Meet members of the Save LA Cougars to learn about what we can do to protect mountain lions, which includes learning about the construction progress of Annenberg Wildlife Crossing in Agoura Hills designed to provide safe and sustainable passage for all wildlife including mountain lions. That 24 Carat Gold Plated Bathtub Buggy that made this appearance in Japan, driven by Beau Boeckmann, the president and ceo of Galpin Ford, is one of the automotive stars of Sunday’s WILDEST CAR SHOW ON EARTH. You can see that at the Van Nuys custom car show along with this one, the Roach Coach, which is on the West Coast for the first time in 40-years.
In case you’re wondering, the hood ornament, yup, it’s a roach. We’re invited to see this and more tomorrow, Sunday from 9am-2pm, at Galpin Motors takes over Roscoe Boulevard in Van Nuys.
