This winter lights experience is built around a peaceful stroll through the new tiger habitat as well as a zoo filled with dynamic larger-than-life light installations, interactive displays, fabulous photo ops, and seasonal magic. Guests can sweeten the experience with optional add-on cookie and cupcake decorating classes December 14th and December 21st. December 7th, 1941 Japan launched a surprise attack on the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor, which led to the United States entering World War Two. The attack killed and wounded more than 3,500 people, destroyed 188 aircraft, and permanently sank the USS Arizona and USS Utah. In San Pedro, the Battleship Iowa Museum has a remembrance ceremony beginning at 10:30 this morning. The evenbrite.com website says the ceremony includes the 300th Army Band Brass Quintet, a speech by 100-year-old World War Two Veteran Lloyd Glick and H. Delano Roosevelt, the grandson of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
