Gayle Anderson reports pet adoption fees are being waived on Saturday, March 15th, 2025, to celebrate opening day at the spcaLA Pet Adoption Center in West Adams. Pet adoption fees will be waived on Saturday for qualified adopters, plus there will be vendor booths, giveaways and more!

This special adoption day event takes place Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the spcaLA Pet Adoption Center, 5026 West Jefferson Blvd., Los Angeles, CA, 90016.

Founded in 1877, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) is Southern California’s preeminent animal welfare agency. Donations run Animal Cruelty Investigations, Violence Prevention Humane Education Initiatives, Disaster Response, Lost Pet Reunification, Pet Adoptions, and a host of shelter services. Independently chartered, spcaLA is not a chapter of any group, nor is there a national spca or Humane Society that provides financial support.
