Pacific Palisades resident Lionel Sauvage describes how he used pool water to defend his home during the recent Palisades Fire. He stopped by KTLA 5 Weekend Morning News to explain how the 1993 Malibu fires demonstrated how devastating wildfire could be and later built his current home with fire defense in mind. Sauvage is currently displaced and waiting for permission to return to the neighborhood he helped to save.
