Authorities have identified the Temecula man who was shot and killed Saturday morning.

Aaron Bowers, 39, was shot in the 32900 block of Josheroo Court just before 5 a.m., authorities said in a news release.

The shooting was reported by Bowers’ alleged killer, 22-year-old Micah Harris, also a Temecula resident, who called police and “advised that he had just shot another adult male inside the residence,” the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release.

The suspected motive behind the attack has not been disclosed.

Harris is being held at the Southwest Detention Center in lieu of $1 million bail, and he’s due to appear at the Murrieta Southwest Justice Center on Wednesday morning.
