The Palisades Fire and other blazes in Southern California have produced almost incomprehensible devastation, but the public is at least getting some idea of the damage from gripping images captured by photojournalists.
The Associated Press has been on the forefront of that effort, and their photographers have shared the circumstances around some of the most prominent images of the crisis.
