A Southern California mother and her two young children, who have been missing for nearly three weeks, were found safe.
At the time, Lisa Trejo Cordero and her kids — Memarie Fetchko, 4, and Jameson Fetchko, 2, were last seen on Aug. 6 in East Hemet, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
They were scheduled to meet with child protective services to finalize custody arrangements for the children when they failed to appear.
On Aug. 27, the sheriff’s department confirmed the trio was found safe. Details on the circumstances surrounding their discovery were not released.
