People gathered outside Elon Musk’s long-awaited Tesla diner in Hollywood on Monday after he shared that it would be opening to the public.
The diner, which will feature superchargers for electric vehicles and two drive-in movie screens, has been in development since 2018. Diner classics, including hamburgers, hot dogs, and wings, will be served in Tesla-branded food containers.
Social media posts on X claim that the diner will officially open at 4:20 p.m.
The diner located at 7001 Santa Monica Blvd., held a soft opening over the weekend for first responders and members of the Southern California Tesla Club.
Videos and photos shared showed servers on roller skates and the humanoid robot, named Optimus, scooping popcorn.
Musk shared on X that if the diner is successful, he plans to open more locations in major cities worldwide.
