A patient who was found injured in Riverside has been successfully identified, officials confirmed.
The female patient is around 42 years old and had been hospitalized since Aug. 11., according to the Riverside Community Hospital.
“Riverside Community Hospital would like to thank the public and media for sharing this story,” a hospital spokesperson said on Aug. 29. “Since the original release, we have identified the patient. Thank you to everyone who called in.”
At the time, she did not have any personal belongings to help staff identify her or contact loved ones. Workers had also “exhausted resources in attempting identification, including working with the Riverside Police Department.”

Workers did not disclose the nature of her injuries. No further details, including her name, were released.
