A Southern California man who had been missing for nearly two months was found dead in his vehicle Friday.
Rwechungula Anyabwile, 63, was last seen on May 22, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
On June 22, Anyabwile texted his family in a group chat, but that was the last time anyone heard from him.
At the time, his family said there was no known medical condition that would contribute to his disappearance and he had never gone missing before. They had also been searching for his car, a black Hyundai Sonata sedan.

As LAPD detectives investigated the case, on July 18, Anyabwile was found dead inside his car, which was parked in the 7000 block of W. 85th Street in the Westchester area.
Police did not release details on the cause of death or the circumstances surrounding his discovery, only that his family has been notified.
No further information was provided as the case remains under investigation.
