A 23-year-old man was shot outside of a Ventura County liquor store Sunday afternoon.
The man, whose identity has not been released, was shot a few minutes after 4 p.m. outside of a liquor store in the 4000 block of East Center Street in Piru, an unincorporated area of the county, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
The man sustained one gunshot wound and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He is in stable condition.
No information about the suspected shooter has been made public.
