A 36-year-old man was shot and killed on a street in Pacoima early Monday morning.

The man, whose identity has not been released, was found in the 11900 block of Dronfield Avenue just before 3:15 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department said in a news release.

Though several gunshots had been reported, the man only sustained a single gunshot wound. That shot, however, proved to be fatal, as the man was found down in the street and declared dead at the scene.
