The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a pickup truck involved in a felony hit-and-run that severely injured a pedestrian in Hollywood this January.

The black truck was spotted near Santa Monica Boulevard and St. Andrews Place at about 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 9, the LAPD said on X, formerly Twitter.

The vehicle, which police believe is a black or dark gray Ford F-150, hit a pedestrian in a crosswalk on Santa Monica Boulevard, then continued west without stopping to help.

That pedestrian, a 44-year-old Angeleno, was hospitalized with “severe injuries to their face, torso, and legs,” police said in a news release.

Anyone with information is asked to call 213-473-0234.
