The Los Angeles Police Department is looking for a person who stole two motorcycles from secured parking garages in West Los Angeles and Westwood last month.

The first theft occurred on May 12 at about 2:50 a.m. in the 11000 block of Mississippi Avenue, police said, and the second six days later at about 10:50 a.m. in the 10000 block of Rochester Avenue.

The alleged thief is a Black man who is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 190 pounds. Police believe he is in his 30s, and he has been been spotted recently wearing the following clothing items:

  • black motorcycle helmet
  • tan-and-black jacket with black stripes on the arms
  • camo shorts
  • black pants
  • black shoes
  • black gloves
  • blue-and-gray Jansport Goshawk 40L hiking backpack
