A 23-year-old man has been charged with three counts of murder in the deaths of three family members including an 8-year-old girl, a 16-year-old boy and a 44-year-old woman who were found dead inside their Baldwin Park home, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.
Kyle Chester De Los Reyes is also facing special allegations of use of a deadly weapon and committing multiple murders in the Dec. 26 tragedy that occurred in the 4700 block of Bogart Avenue.
Arriving officers found the suspect sitting in a vehicle in the driveway and took him into custody after he tried to flee but crashed at the end of the culdesac.

Officials have not detailed the relationships between De Los Reyes and the victims who were found with multiple stab wounds but have confirmed that he is a family member.
Police confirmed earlier that several other children lived at the home, though no additional injuries were reported. Neighbors said they had heard screaming and a man yelling during the deadly incident.
Investigators have not announced any possible motive for the stabbings.
“My office will work tirelessly to ensure that justice is served in this devastating act of violence, which has shaken our community and left a family forever changed,” District Attorney Nathan Hochman said.
De Los Reyes is being held without bail and is scheduled for arraignment in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Jan. 15.
