Police are searching for a suspect following an overnight break-in at a Hollywood home that forced residents to flee and call police.
The burglary report came in around 11:50 p.m. Wednesday, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers arrived quickly and set up a perimeter around the Courtney Avenue home as a helicopter flew overhead in hopes of trapping whoever was inside.

Video showed police shouting commands as they entered the house with guns drawn, but it was unclear if anyone was found inside the residence.
Police have not confirmed how many intruders initially entered the home, but the LAPD spokesperson indicated they were still searching for a suspect described as a Latino man in his 20s.
There was no immediate word on what, if anything, was taken in the incident.
