Cowboy fans (not necessarily the Dallas Cowboys) rejoice!

The Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival has returned to L.A. County for a weekend of country fun, featuring live country, folk and bluegrass music, food, Western-style gear and more.

Activities include roping cattle, panning for gold, archery and hatchet throwing.

KTLA 5’s Erin Myers had the chance to check out some of the festivities and eats, which also include line dancing lessons and, of course, cowboy peach cobbler, which the KTLA Weekend Morning News team was lucky enough to try.

The 29th Annual Cowboy Festival takes place on Saturday and Sunday at William S. Hart Park.

General admission to the festival is free, and there are ticket purchase options for special events and VIP passes.
