A suspect remains at large after a security guard was shot and killed outside a bar in Anaheim.
On June 22, Orange County sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting outside of 99 Bottles & Cocktails.
Arriving deputies found the victim, Salvador Ramirez, 48, of Fountain Valley, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
He was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries the next day. Ramirez was employed as a security guard for the bar.
The shooter fled the scene before authorities arrived. Detectives believed the suspect was a Hispanic man who had left the area on foot.
