A fire sent smoke billowing out of an apartment window in Northridge early Friday morning.
The fire was reported shortly after 3 a.m. in the 19000 block of West Parthenia Street, the Los Angeles Fire Department said in an alert.
Video from the scene showed a second-story unit in the two-story building was burning, sending a thick column of smoke out of the unit’s window.
The fire was ultimately extinguished in less than 15 minutes, though the occupants of the apartment were displaced.
No one was hurt.
